Dr. Shayna Gotvaslee - Owner / Veterinarian
Dr. Shayna obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Minnesota, College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. She practiced small animal medicine at the St. Joseph/Cold Spring Veterinary Clinics for 12 years before having the unique opportunity to purchase the Kelner Animal Hospital from Dr. Vicki Kelner and renaming it the Clearwater Animal Hospital. Dr. Shayna loves being an animal doctor and feels blessed to help animals and the families who love them. Dr. Shayna and her husband Glenn have been residents of Clearwater for 15 years. They share their home with 3 children, 2 loud amazon parrots, 3 precious dogs and one very spoiled cat. Dr. Shayna enjoys traveling/road trips, music, dancing and making art projects with the kids, and other people’s cooking.
Dr. Vicki Kelner - Founder / Veterinarian
Dr Kelner lives with her husband and three daughters in Clear Lake, Minnesota. She has two dogs and five cats! She has practiced veterinary medicine in central Minnesota for twenty eight years and is a graduate of the U of MN. Favorite downtime activities include: reading, kayaking, gardening, and family game time
Denise - CVT
My name is Denise Winkelman, I received my CVT in 2016. I have my BS in animal science from the University of Minnesota and my AAS in veterinary technology from Minnesota School of Business. I have a dog named Daisy and two cats named Lucy and Shadow.
Mary Beth Rudolph - CVT
Mary Beth Rudolph has been a CVT since 2003. She graduated from Ridgewater College in Willmar, Minnesota. She has always had a love for animals since she was young. She currently has 2 dogs named Fred and Daphne and a 55 gallon fish aquarium.
Sarah Townsend - CVT
Sarah Townsend graduated from Argosy University and passed the AASVB board exam in 2019 to become a Certified Veterinary Technician. Working in the veterinary clinic setting since 2018, Sarah has found her true passion in helping animals. At home, Sarah spends time with her one year old daughter, 2 cats, and leopard gecko. Free time activities include agate hunting, kayaking, hiking, and painting.
